Missions

Operation Thanksgiving

Operation Thanksgiving is a huge ministry opportunity in our church. Each year on Thanksgiving Day, we minister to the people of Jasper and surrounding areas by sharing a full Thanksgiving meal with over 1,500 people at the Jasper Civic Center. The work starts long before that as volunteers cook and freeze different items in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving all leading up to a day where we can meet people's physical and spiritual needs at one event.

Ministry in Schools

The students of the Jasper City and Walker County Schools are at a pivotal time in the their lives and each day they have 1000's of things vying for their attention. With your help, one of those things constantly vying for their attention is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are present in the schools by feeding sports teams and band programs, ministering to teachers through supply bags, leading First Priority meetings, etc.

Operation Christmas Child

OCC is a big deal at Glory. In addition to having a huge, church-wide packing party each year where we pack over 500 boxes, we partner with Samaritan's Purse as a drop off location for boxes from churches all over the region.

Active Missionaries

Matt and Lindsey Lotspeich

Matt is the lead pastor of a new church plant called Hudson River Community Church in Poughkeepsie, NY. The church was planted to reach the city of Poughkeepsie, a place an hour's ride from Manhattan and home of some 75,000 unreached people.

Brian and Jennifer Tuwereza

Brian is the pastor of Glory Fellowship Uganda, a church in Kamengo, Uganda that is reaching the lost for Jesus. Throughout the years, our local church has supported them both financially and through various mission and in-person teaching projects in Uganda.

Christmas Gift to the Nations

Serving the nations through financial giving.

Each year, the entirety of our Christmas week offering goes to a Christmas gift to the nations. This year, the people of Glory Fellowship gave abundantly to the Lord and exceeded our goal of $25,000 immediately. All told, our church was obedient to the Lord and gave $89,000 to the Christmas Missions Offering.  This gift supports church planters in North America, foreign missionaries, Operation Christmas Child and many other local ministries that have a direct impact on the spread of the gospel.
